Day 6: Camera Controls, Macro
If you're not familiar with C7 lights, they are the Christmas bulbs that are about 2" long from tip to tip.
I took some photos that were the most macro I can get with my camera, just the inside of one of the lights, but I liked this photo better.
Those are some nice partylights you got there.
ReplyDeleteGreat composition and a nice use of DoF .
I like the use of color...just one red one

A nice shot showing some fabulous colour. Love the different blues with one red one. Very nice work with the macro!
ReplyDeleteA great photo for sure. It makes me very nostalgic.
ReplyDeleteYou've captured some nice detail. Very nice macro.
ReplyDeleteI would make the one bulb even more orange using selective color to play on the complementary colors even more.
ReplyDeleteI agree about playing with the orange color. It looked fine in Photoshop, but I wasn't as happy once I saw it posted. But I was so glad to finally have a photo that didn't take me long! The shoot was easy, and I only had to crop a little and white balance this one. Yea!
ReplyDeleteVery nice shot, lovely colour against the wite background. Nicely random line of lights too
ReplyDeleteI love the different shades of blue against the one red lamp and the transparancy.
ReplyDeleteI like the color and transparency of the bulbs. I do find the front left one a bit overpowering though.
ReplyDeleteWonderful macro shot. I have to agree with Eury about the front one though
