Day 6: C7 Bulbs

Day 6: Camera Controls, Macro

If you're not familiar with C7 lights, they are the Christmas bulbs that are about 2" long from tip to tip.

I took some photos that were the most macro I can get with my camera, just the inside of one of the lights, but I liked this photo better.

  6. I would make the one bulb even more orange using selective color to play on the complementary colors even more.

  7. I agree about playing with the orange color. It looked fine in Photoshop, but I wasn't as happy once I saw it posted. But I was so glad to finally have a photo that didn't take me long! The shoot was easy, and I only had to crop a little and white balance this one. Yea!

  10. I like the color and transparency of the bulbs. I do find the front left one a bit overpowering though.
