Great use of the three primary colours. The very aggressive yellow one on the diagonal like that really adds a dynamic movement to the shot and the soft lighting works well. Well done!
Nice use of primary colors and a great composition of the pencils. Personally I think I would have made a little (rotated) crop to have the top blue and red pencil at a little bigger angle. Besides that little personal side note, it is a very good picture.
Thanks, everyone. Great idea on the rotation, egonlinden. Makes sense, since one of the resasons I chose this particular shot was the slight angling of the back pencils.

ReplyDeleteNice clean shot and your composition works really well.
ReplyDeleteAgree with the comment about the dynamic movement - it somehow has energy. The composition would qualify for leading lines, too. Nice, Kat!
ReplyDeleteVery intruiging composition.
ReplyDeleteI like the composition of the pencils :)
ReplyDeleteLovely strong colours and diagonals. Great shot
